VIRTUS training helps keep our kids safe. If you and/or your spouse plan to volunteer in any capacity this coming school year, you MUST have VIRTUS training. Please register now for VIRTUS Class and you’ll be ready to go! Once registered, please read the monthly VIRTUS bulletins to stay up-to-date.

Hot Lunch Order Deadline
Please go here to learn about Boonli, our on-line lunch ordering system. Questions: Sara Klooster. When ordering lunches, please consider donating lunch for a staff member. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
Family to Family Basket
There is a Family to Family Basket located by the lost and found to use when academy families are unable to meet outside of school to exchange items. If you choose to use this option, please label items clearly, and have your child place items in the basket for a member of the receiving family to pick up. Please note that the school is not responsible for lost or stolen items, and will not call children to the office to pick them up. Valuable and sentimental items, and anything exchanged with non-academy families should be exchanged outside of school. We hope this basket will make things simpler and eliminate confusion!
Save the Date for Auction 2023 – Oct. 13 (Fri.)
“Kentucky Derby – A Night at the Races”
This is a night you will NOT want to miss. The annual Parish and Academy auction date is Friday, October 13, 2023. Doors open at 6pm at the Goei Center with a strolling dinner, a robust silent auction and Heart-to-Heart tables that benefit specific needs within the parish and academy. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and while we do need to raise funds, our bigger initiative is to build relationships! So ladies, start making your hats now and plan for an evening of fun and friendly competition. If you are interested in helping with the planning, please reach out to Amber Hiske at ahiske@shgr.org.
Chaperoning for Field Trips and Events
Parents wanting to be chaperones must be VIRTUS trained. If you have been trained, please make sure to log in and select Sacred Heart School (Grand Rapids) as a volunteer site. If you are not on our VIRTUS list, you cannot assist. Please contact Mrs. Menardie if you need training or have any questions.
Free Counseling Services for Students
SHA offers free counseling services through Billy Robinson. If you would like your child to be seen by him, you must complete and return the required permission forms to the office. Forms can be obtained from the office or from your child’s teacher.
