Stewardship

“Lord, teach me to be generous, to serve you as you deserve.” — St. Ignatius of Loyola

Why Be a Sacred Heart Steward?

The Church thinks in terms of centuries. And thinking with the mind of the Church, we are not looking to make a temporary impact in our corner of the world. We’re looking to make a generational impact.

This was the spirit embraced by the Polish immigrants who founded this parish over a century ago. At Sacred Heart Academy, we know that by teaching out children to love the Lord — to labor beside him in their own vocations, their own families — they will not only have a generational impact: They will have an impact that rings into eternity.

At Sacred Heart Academy, we receive no government funding, relying entirely on private donations and the generosity of individuals who believe in our mission! Are you be called to join us in this mission? We want to hear from you. Our work is made possible by the generous support of volunteers and donors.

Investing in the Heart

The Lord works through his people. He has blessed us with a wonderful community of dedicated families and educators. Their sacrifice is assisted and sustained through resources — humbly requested, judiciously managed, carefully applied — from our benefactors.

In short, you can be confident that your support of Sacred Heart Academy will not only be stewarded well, but that it will always be used in direct support of our mission: to assist families as they form their children to be holy, courageous, and bearers of light into a world in need of Christ.

Auction

Each year, Sacred Heart hosts a few select events to aid giving efforts, the largest of these being our annual auction. It is our community’s primary fundraising event and a very important avenue for supporting our work, but it is also a great way to learn more about Sacred Heart and spend time with our friends and loved ones. Each auction has a special theme, and includes a fun night of fellowship with a strolling dinner, drinks, and silent and live auctions with plenty of exciting items and packages! If you would like to sponsor a table for family or friends, purchase tickets, or make a donation, please visit our auction website. We hope to see you there!

A Note from Our Advancement Team

Dear Friends,

Sacred Heart Academy has taken on a great challenge. This fine classical Catholic institution seeks to form young people to pursue the highest heights, living a life worthy of the call they have received as inheritors of the Catholic Faith and the Western intellectual tradition. We witness this parish school seek to answer that call and rise to that challenge every day.

Our story unfolds and comes alive in the sacrifices of our teachers laying down their lives daily for their students and the mission of this school, in the kindness and generosity of the lower school children as they play and work with each other, and in the beautiful fiats of our upper schoolers who say ‘yes’ to wherever God calls them after they leave Sacred Heart.

Thank you for your generous support of Sacred Heart Academy. It is exciting to witness the hope our school offers as an antidote to the desolate culture of the day. As an institution that chooses to operate independently of ANY government funding, we rely on the help of generous private foundations and donors to form these children, support our faithful faculty, purchase great books, sustain our facilities, and continue to say yes to each and every family that desires to be a part of our community. Whether you are considering giving a large gift or a small one, know that every dollar counts and every gift matters. If you have any questions or would like to visit the Academy, please do not hesitate to reach out. We would love to meet you.

In Christ,

The Sacred Heart Advancement Office
