Anne Detmers

Mrs. Detmers was born and raised here in Grand Rapids. She converted to Catholicism in 2013 and loves to share her faith with the children she works with. Mrs. Detmers has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Western Michigan University. For the last 6 years, she has worked for Rockford Public Schools, where she taught in multiple different areas, including 1st grade, kindergarten, developmental kindergarten, and as a math interventionist. She has been married for 20 years to her husband, Michael. They have 3 children and 2 dogs named Maizie and Lily. As a family, the Detmers like to spend time up North at their cabin on the Little Manistee River. In her spare time, Mrs. Detmers loves to color and read.
