Anna Fisher
St. John Henry Institute Mission & Culture Fellow
Matthew 6:25-34
Miss Fisher was born and raised in Northern Michigan, and was baptized on the first ever Divine Mercy Sunday! She has always had a very close relationship with her family, as her grandparents lived right next door during her childhood, and considers this central to her formation. Miss Fisher earned her Associate of Arts degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from North Central Michigan College, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability, with a minor in Outdoor Education and Interpretation, from Northern Michigan University. Prior to joining SHA as a St. John Henry Institute Mission & Culture Fellow, Miss Fisher served as a Catechist, environmental and STEM educator, academic advisor to high school seniors, peer minister through Catholic Campus Ministry at NMU, and camp counselor at Camp Sancta Maria, a U.P. Catholic summer camp. In her free time, Miss Fisher enjoys skiing, spending time in the fresh air and sunshine with good company, collecting antique religious goods, volunteering, and assisting with Catholic summer camps. Her favorite author is Willa Cather. She has special devotions to St. Veronica and Venerable Bishop Baraga, and loves St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.
