Miriam Ashby

Miriam Ashby is an academy parent who joined us as director of the Theater Arts program in 2020. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Western Michigan University, which is where she also converted to Catholicism, along with her husband, Seth. They have five children – some homeschooled and some at the academy. Since graduating from WMU, Miriam has used her degree to teach in public school, direct a summer children’s choir for five years, and teach music at a homeschool cooperative for ten years. She’s so grateful to be able to work with such talented students, working together to tell family-friendly beautiful stories on stage.
