Paul Bogan

Mr. Bogan was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan.
After learning to love music, particularly playing saxophone, and playing in a Saxophone quartet with his brother, Mr. Bogan went on to study music for two years at Michigan State University in Saxophone Performance. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan, and his Master of Arts concentrating in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. Prior to joining the faculty of Sacred Heart Academy, Mr. Bogan taught literature, math, history, science, Latin, and theology at a classical academy in Newnan, Georgia. He then taught theology at St. John Paul II Catholic High School in Huntsville, Alabama. He went on to teach high school courses in philosophy and theology as well as middle school Latin courses at St. Michael’s Classical Academy in Petoskey, Michigan. Most recently, he has been teaching literature and Latin at Holy Spirit Prep, a classical school in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Bogan has seven years of teaching experience. Mr. Bogan enjoys spending time with his family, his wife, his baby, and his dog. He also enjoys music, playing saxophone, and golf. Both he and his wife like to ski, so they are especially excited to be back in Michigan!
