Patrick Mitchell
Math Coordinator, Upper School- Math/ Science/ Trivium
Mr. Mitchell is a Michigander through and through, born and raised in Plymouth, Michigan, on the east side of the state. He is the youngest of 4 in his family and has a growing gaggle of nieces and nephews! Teaching has been a lifelong love of his and he considers himself very blessed to be here at SHA.
When he was a young boy, Mr. Mitchell attended Spiritus Sanctus Academy run by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, who created a faith-filled school community much like Sacred Heart. After attending Father Gabriel Richard HS in Ann Arbor, MI he graduated from Hillsdale College, Class of 2021, with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with Minors in Math and Classical Education. During his Hillsdale years, he worked as the Writing Center Director and Tutor and was a Mathnasium tutor for a summer. Mr. Mitchell loves to read and write; the saints dearest to him are St. Therese of Lisieux and St. Thomas Aquinas; he golfs whenever the weather is nice enough; and he will never get bored looking at the Moon.
“I do not fear because I love, which I should not do if I were not loved. And so this is love.” -St. Bernard of Clairvaux
